Mysuru: Not denying the fact that he aspired to become the Chief Minister, HD Kumaraswamy said that he had expected to come to power with the complete blessings of the people.
He was speaking to reporters after arriving at the Lalit Mahal helipad on Wednesday morning, to offer special poojas to Goddess Chamundeswari atop the Chamundi hills, just ahead of being sworn in as Chief Minister.
Kumaraswamy also said that he will always be available for the public who need not seek any prior appointment to meet him. “The doors of my house will be open to them from 6am and the door of my office in Vidhana Soudha will be open to them always,” he said while assuring that he will fulfill the promises made in the JD(S) and Congress manifestos.
“I am not a leader of one particular group or community, but of the 6.5 crore people of the state.” he further added.
