Mysuru: Death toll has shot up to 14, in Kicchuguttu temple prasadam poisoning case, with a woman breathing her last at KR hospital, here on Monday.
Myli Bai, the deceased was undergoing treatment at KR hospital. She died here on Monday after consuming prasad at the temple.
More than 100 people suffered serious complication after consuming Prasadam containing pesticides at Maramma temple on Friday, following which all the victims were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
A total of 13 deaths were reported till Sunday evening, and it increased by one more death here on Monday.
Myli Bai’s husband Krishnanayaka was one of the victims who died here on Friday. Both were working as daily wage works. They are survived by their three children, who are still schooling.
