Mysuru: In a freak incident an employee of Mysuru zoo was injured after a panic-stricken crocodile launched an attack on him on Tuesday, March 20.
With Tuesday being a holiday, employee Puttaswamy had got into the crocodile enclosure to clean the premises. While leaving the place he happened to slip and fall over a crocodile. Petrified by the same, the crocodile attacked him and in the attack he lost his toes. He had joined duty three years ago on contract basis and it is said that this is the first of its kind episode that took place in last 125 years.
