Mysuru: ‘Modern Business Organizations work in a fully automated environment. Customer-focused Lean Management and constant innovation are the prime business models. These organizations hire people with Strategic knowledge. As both the business models call for frequent “Change” to be implemented, training & development becomes inevitable. Hence, an abundant opportunity exists for Trainers who can deliver specific learning needs.’ said AR Dwarakanath, Former Chairman, Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) Mysuru Chapter, during the valedictory address of the 2-Day Train The Trainers (TTT) organized for the members of the Chapter on February 20 & 21, 2021.

Dwarakanth opined that to help organizations achieve their training objectives viz. transfer of knowledge and Return on Investment, Trainers need to become part of Training Need Analysis, which is the very first part of ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) Model dealing with a formal training program. “A Dashboard for every process” is part of work culture. Trainers also need to ensure present the level of Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Competency by formal pre-training evaluation.

Dwarakanath distributed the Level 1 TTT certificate to the participants.

Earlier, ISTD Mysuru Chapter Chairman Sendil Kumar welcomed the gathering; and Secretary Rajiv P Saraty introduced the chief guest. The MC Member and Chief Trainer of the TTT Mohmad Zeeshan presented the vote of thanks. MC Members and the Co-Trainers of the TTT program Nikitha Patel and Bharat Srinivas were present.
