Mysuru: Rural Development and Panchayat Raj minister and BJP leader K S Eshwarappa on Monday, lashed out at the Congress party and assured that there would not be a change in the state’s leadership.
It can be noted that it has been speculated that B S Yediyurappa would be replaced as Chief Minister of Karnataka, but this has been dismissed by the BJP on numerous occasions.
Speaking to reporters, Eshwarappa said that CLP leader Siddaramaiah and JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy are being delusional as there is no change on the agenda of the party.
“Siddaramaiah has been claiming that he will be the state’s next CM and Kumaraswamy has said that his party will come to power in 2023. But, both of them are daydreaming and are living under an illusion,” he said as per a UNI report.
Stating that Siddaramaiah will never again be CM and that the JD(S) will never again come to power, KSE said that Yediyurappa will continue as Karnataka’s Chief Minister.
He added that neither the BJP MLAs nor the party high command has discussed or raised the matter about a change in the post of CM.
