Mysuru: Darshan starrer “Wodeyar” seems to have hit troubled waters with the members of the Kannada Kranthidal objecting to the title of the movie.

Demanding that the producers change the title of the movie, with the Challenging Star as the lead actor, the Kannada Kranthidal lodged a case in K R Police Station. Wodeyar is being produced by MLAmember and film producer Sandesh Nagaraj.

Speaking to media persons, the members of the organisation stated that “Wodeyar” is a name which belongs to the king of Mysuru. “We have huge respect for the Mysuru king. We will not allow this title for the movie which projects rowdyism and humour. Though we requested the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to not allow the film with this title, the movie title has not been changed. It has come to our notice that the shooting of the film will be launched in Mysuru on August 16. Hence we request the film team members to change the title.”
