Mysuru: BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa clarified that his son B Y Vijayendra will not contest from Varuna constituency and asked the BJP workers to pardon him if he made any mistake.

Speaking after discussing with Prakash Javadekar and Muralidhara Rao, party in-charge for Karnataka, for more than two hours, BSY said, “Vijayendra will not contest from Varuna because of some special reasons. We have discussed with all candidates from Mysuru and Chamarajanagar. He will campaign in all constituencies of these districts for 20 days.”

“There is no confusion in Vijayendra. Workers should not misunderstand this move and they should work peacefully for the party candidate, whoever it may be,” he requested.
The BJP workers were disappointed and angry at the senior leaders for directing Vijayendra not to contest from Varuna in the last minute and created berserk. Now, all are curious about the new BJP candidate from Varuna.
