Mysuru: Rajya Sabha member and senior Bollywood actor Raj Babbar called the BJP’s Karnataka election manifesto as a “manifesto of 5 star hotel culture” on May 4.
Speaking at an election rally for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Chamundeshwari Constituency, the senior actor said, “Manifesto of Siddaramaiah government favours poor, whereas BJP’s Manifesto is a manifesto of 5-star hotel culture.”
Further he said, “Siddaramaiah considers people of Chamundeshwari Constituency as his family. Siddaramaiah government sides with the poor and minorities.”
Criticising the BJP’s star campaigner Yogi Adityanath, Babbar said, “People are dying in Uttar Pradesh due to dust storms and thunderstorms. But Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is busy campaigning for BJP in Karnataka. His actions are not befitting of a Chief Minister of a state.”
Film director Rajendra Singh Babu and actor Rishika Singh accompanied Babbar during the election campaign.
