Mysuru: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (Secular) have arrived at a secret understanding with the sole intention of gaining power in the state, accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
On a campaign trail in Chamundeshwari constituency, CM said that both parties were faces of the same coin and their plot to defeat Congress would not materialise this time.
Participating in road shows and addressing people in several villages in the constituency, the CM accused the incumbent MLA G T Devegowda of neglecting the constituency in total during the last five years. Apart from performing ground breaking ceremonies for the projects sanctioned by the state government, he did not do anything else, CM said.
Listing out the achievements of his government and schemes to benefit various sections of the society, the CM asked voters to re-elect him. “I am personally indebted to deliver and fulfill the aspirations of the people, who supported me all along since 1983”, CM said, recalling his political resurgence in 2006.
