Mysuru: Senior Congress leader and former KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao urged the state government to ban right-wing terror groups like RSS, Rama Sena, and Bajarang Dal along with PFI and SDPI.
Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, Gundu Rao stated that the state government was indulging in a double standard on banning only selected groups. “The state government sent a proposal to ban PFI and SDPI. In this issue, the state government is following a double standard. Various right-wing organisations like RSS, Bajarang Dal, and Rama Sena have also been involved in violence. So, let the government ban these organisations also,” he said.
He also attacked the state government and BJP over the recent bomb-scare at Mangaluru International Airport. “As the name of the accused is Aditya Rao, all the right-wing organisations including BJP, VHP, RSS are silent,” he chided.
