Mysuru: Residents in the Yadavagiri area have been pleading the Mysuru city corporation (MCC) authorities to shut the life threatening hole on the road for the last two months.
Hapless residents in the posh locality finally approached artist Badal Nanjunadaswamy to highlight their problems in some way or the other so that the MCC authorities open their eyes and have a close look at the impending problem.
Understanding their plight and the dengue fever that is taking heavy toll in the region, innovative artist Badal Nanjundaswamy painted the hole to expose the “hollow administration” of the MCC as well as create awareness on Dengue.
The painting clearly shows Dengue can be life threatening that can bring an early end to human life if preventive measures are not taken on time and at the same time drives a clear message to MCC to act without further delay.
Isn’t artist Badal Nanjunadaswamy’s painted “picture worth a thousand words?”
