Amit Shah to hold his maiden visit to Chamarajanagar today

Mysuru: BJP national President Amith Shah will be visiting Chamarajanagar to participate in the Schedule Tribe Convention at BR Ambedkar Stadium in Chamarajanagar on Friday. This will be his first visit to Chamarajanagar.

Mallikarjunappa, President, BJP, Chamarajanagar said “ Over 20,000 people are expected to take part in the ST convention. Amit Shah will be visiting Chamarajanagar for the first time. Many senior national leaders including union ministers Sadananda Gowda, Ananth Kumar and BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa will also be part of the convention”. The convention will be held between 4.45 pm and 5.30pm.

Mallikarjunappa also ruled out any official announcement of candidates for the forthcoming assembly election from Chamarajanagar district. He remained tight lipped with regards to rumors that former Minister Somanna would be contesting from Gundlupet constituency.
