AIISH’s programme on enhancing primary school students’ academic skills from Feb 22

Mysuru: The Department of Clinical Psychology, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) will be organising an orientation programme on ‘Enhancing Academic Skills of Primary School Going Children in School Settings’ at its academic block on February 22.

This orientation programme aims to orient teachers about the various age-related issues of primary school children, barriers in their successful academic performance and provide tips to enhance academic efficiency of children. Teachers of primary schools and school counselors can participate in the programme. This orientation programme will be interactive, inclusive and involves didactic lectures, focus group discussions, case vignette narratives and brainstorming techniques. M. Pushpavathi, Director, AIISH will preside over the function.
