AIISH faculty invited to deliver talk at National University of Singapore

Mysuru: Dr. Ajish K Abraham, Professor, Department of Electronics, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysuru has been invited by the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS) to deliver a talk on “Research problems in speech processing for speech and hearing disorders” on November 23.

NUS is ranked first in the whole of Asia Pacific and 22nd in the world by the 2018 Times Higher Education World University Rankings and 11th in the world by the 2019 QS World University Ranking. During this visit, Dr. Ajish will also interact with the faculty of NUS regarding possible collaborations in the area of speech processing for rehabilitation of persons with communication disorders.

Dr. Ajish has also been invited for the 20th annual conference of the “World Academy of Science Engineering and Technology (WASET)” to be held at Kyoto, Japan on November 15 and 16.. He will present a paper titled “Efficacy of a Wiener filter based technique for speech enhancement in hearing aids” in this conference.
