Ahead of PM’s visit, SPG, officials inspect Mysuru Railway Station

Mysuru: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mysuru Railway Station to flag off the Humsafar Express train, the Special Protection Group along with the district and railway officials inspected the venue and also held discussions on various issues, including security-related aspects.

Deputy Commissioner D Randeep and Atul Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru division, SWR along with Special Protection Group and various other related officials visited the station especially Platform 1, where Modi will be flagging off Humsafar Express and inaugurating the electric and double line.

Reservation booking for inaugural run of Train No 06231 weekly Humsafar Express from Mysuru to Udaipur which will be flagged off by on February 19 at 3.30 pm started on February 14.

The train leaves Mysuru on February 19 at 3.30 PM and reaches Udaipur City on February 21 at 11.30 am. The train is fully air conditioned and will have 16 coaches of 3 Tier AC at a starting fare of Rs 20320. The train will have 12 stoppages before arrival at Udaipur. The train will reach Bengaluru at 5.50 pm before which it will have only one stoppage at Mandya at 4.25 pm.
