Mysuru: Aam Aadmi Party Mysuru Chamaraja Assembly candidate Malavika Gubbivani lambasted MP Pratap Simha for making political jumla of road development here on February 11.
Recently, the MP, in a press statement said that the central government of India has sanctioned various road development projects worth Rs.79.60 crores for Mysuru Kodagu region. “This is pure electoral gimmick and nothing is going to happen on the ground. It has been made with an eye on 2019 elections,” she said adding,”similar statement was made by previous MP A. H. Vishwanath in 2014 too. Four grade separators (fly-overs) were sanctioned at a cost of over Rs.66 crores under JnNURM and MUDA had even declared that they will go ahead with the ORR flyovers at their own cost but five years hence, there is nothing to show.”
Malavika also cautioned Mysoreans not to fall for this repeated false promises of ‘Vikas’ by both the BJP and the Congress and choose an honest political alternative- AAP.
