Mysuru: Among the nine Sports Authority of Karnataka (SAK) coaches who were serving in Mysuru, seven have been transferred to different places including two to Bengaluru.
Across the state, 72 SAK coaches including seven from Mysuru have been transferred to different places. The seven SAK coaches from Mysuru who have been transferred are Vijay Krishna (Hockey coach), Ashok (Volleyball), Patil (Basketball), Girish (Basketball), Lokesh (Gymnastics), Balu (Gymnastics) and Ramesh (Cricket). Apart from Girish, the rest of the coaches have served in Mysuru for more than 10 years.
Ramesh and Vijay Krishna have been transferred to Bengaluru while Balu, Lokesh, Ashok, Patil and Girish have been transferred to Tumkuru, Dharwad, Udupi, Bagalkot and Bidar respectively.
