Speaking to Newskarnataka, Dayananda, DDPU, Mysuru district who took charge just few days ago said, “For the smooth conduct of exams, we have come out with 50 examination centres, with all of them fitted with CCTV cameras. At each centre, at an average, nearly 700 students will be appearing for exams. Apart from the chief superintendent, no one is allowed to carry mobile phones to the examination halls. To keep tab on malpractices, we have formed 11 mobile squads, each squad consisting of four members. To each taluk, the question papers will be distributed from the district treasury through GPS fitted vehicles. Everyday, the exam starts at 10.15 AM but we have instructed the students to be at the examination hall 30 minutes well before the commencement of the exam.” On Thursday, the science students will be appearing for Physics while the Commerce and Arts students will be appearing for Economics exam.
