Mysuru: The 13-year-old girl from the cultural city entered the book records by performing Niralamaba Purna Chakrasana posture 15 times in a minute, in the artistic form of Yoga on June 11.
The new world record holder H Khushi, a resident on the city’s outskirts, is the new world record holder (Golden Book of World Record). The student achieved the rare distinction in an event held within the premise of RBI Note Printing Unit in the city. A beaming Khushi received the award on Sunday afternoon from Santhosh Agarwal representing Golden Book of World Records organisation as witness. She performed Back Plank Recline Cruncher and Yogic posture in the artistic form of Yoga to enter record book on the occasion.
A student of 9th standard in a private school, Khushi has already won several medals in the state, national and international competitions. She won the bronze medal in international Yoga competition in Shanghai some time ago followed by silver and gold medal in the rhythmic section at the Artistic Division of the Asian Yoga Championship in Vietnam.
