Youth Congress files complaint against man for abusing CM over temple issue

Belthangady: National Youth Congress has registered a complaint against a constable from Belthangady for abusive post on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on social media.

Constable Rajappa Shivappa Benne of Belthangady station had uploaded abusive post on social media.

The man had made a abusive statement on social media criticising CM for visiting a temple after consuming non-vegetarian food.

His post in Kannada read, “Nodi namma Siddu Khan heltare, sarvarigu samapaalu sarvarigu samabalu. Adare mailariyannu Kandaga sidukida mukha mullanannu kandaga aralida mukha, meenu thindu hallige kaddi hakutta devasthanakke hoguvudu ondu sanskrithi, kotyantara Hindu jana aradhisuva nadina pramukha devasthanavannu mamsada oota sevisi devara darshana madida mukhya mantri.”

Youth Congress filed a complaint against him and demanded action for attempting to incite communal clashes between Hindu and Muslims and also disrupting religious harmony.

The complaint copy has been forwarded to CM, home minister, state police chief, cyber crime branch chief and Dakshina Kannada SP.
