Mangalore : A young woman has been found dead in a house near Bejai-Kapikad on April 17, Wednesday night. Police suspect this to be a case of murder.
The deceased has been identified as Anjana of Kerala origin. She worked in the Katipalla branch of Syndicate Bank and was staying in the bank quarters at Gandhinagar.
It is learnt, she often visited the house at Kapikad where a young man of north India origin resided. Neighbours who found the woman dead informed the police.
In the meantime, the mother of the deceased woman had earlier lodged a complaint of missing in Barke station. The Syndicate Bank staff have identified the body.
The cause of the death would be ascertained after a post-mortem. Urva police have registered a case.
