Bantwal : In a development soon after the BJP debacle in the Assembly elections, the Sri Rama Vidya Kendra at Kalladka run by Senior RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat has been raided by a team of forest officials on May 10, Friday.

As per reports, the raid followed information that a number of wild animals were being reared in the school premises in violation of the Wildlife Protection Act. Sources also revealed that monkeys, deer, stags, porcupines and peacocks were being reared in the school since four years.

There is a possibility that the officials may slap cases against the school management for the unlawful act.

Details are awaited. It may be mentioned here that Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat and the newly elected Congress MLA from Bantwal Ramanatha Rai have been on a war path since long. Prabhakar Bhat is the pramukh of the south and north regions of the RSS.
