Mangaluru: The different statements of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa have been doing the rounds in the recent days, as the Lok Sabha elections are approaching. Both the leaders have been striving hard to secure more seats for their respective parties. In a bizarre incident, their names were recently dragged into a class VIII examination question paper and has gone viral.
In this Kannada (Third language) examination question paper from a Bengaluru-based high school, students were asked to give an answer to the question, “Who is the friend of a farmer?” The question came with three options, Kumaraswamy and Yeddyurappa being two of them!
Earthworms are known as farmers’ best friends because of the multitude of benefits their existence provides. They improve soil health and consequently, plant health. Instead of providing other types of worms or animals as options, those who prepared the question paper have included the names of politicians.
The Lok Sabha election fever is on the rise as the polling day draws near. The above question paper is proof that the fever has not even spared the school examinations.
