Bantwal: Condemning social media messages allegedly portraying Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader and ‘Hindu firebrand’ Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat in obscene edited images and using abusive language against him, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, Kalladka zone president Pushparaj has filed a complaint with the Bantwal Police on Thursday, February 20.

He alleged that a person named Abdul Salim, a resident of Ulaibettu and admin of a WhatsApp group named “Current Affair” consisting as many as 250 members, posted obscene edited images of Kalladka Bhat and abused Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Hindu leaders, the RSS and the Hindu religion on the whole.

In the complaint, Pushparaj also alleged that Salim threatened NRIs by saying that their jobs would be snatched away. He has claimed that Salim had also communally instigated people and that he was involved in anti-national activities.

Pushparaj has urged the police to take stringent legal action against such ‘anti-social’ elements.
