Kasargod: Two young men were killed on the railway tracks instantly, when they were hit by a speeding train at Mogral Koppal near Kumble on March 29.
The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Hussain (19) and Isarahil (22), both residents of Uttar Pradesh and skilled tile labourers. Shakeel accompanying them escaped unhurt.
The accident occurred when the trio was returning home after work. The Intercity express train moving towards Mangalore ran over the two of them. They were walking on the tracks towards their rented accommodation nearby after work.
The Kumble Police have registered a case. The bodies have been shifted to Kasargod General Hospital for autopsy.
