Mangalore: An unidentified person was found dead at the Mukka beach. The body was found decomposed. Local residents who spotted the body first say the person might have been murdered.
They also allege that the Suratkal police are in a hurry to close the case after registering a case of unnatural death. The local residents suspect the man was murdered at some other place and then the body dumped on the beach. It is said the tongue was found protruded giving indication that this was not a case of drowning.
The face of the person was also unrecognizable and was found smashed. Local residents have urged the police authorities to make a thorough investigation into this case.
