Belthangady: Urban Development and Housing Minister and the only Congressman to win from the coastal region U T Khader visited Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala on Sunday.
During the Holy month of Ramzan, as he was on fasting, Khader entered the Shri Manjunatheshwara Temple and put the offering (Kanike) to the ‘Hundi’. Later, he met Dharmadhikari Dr.D.Veerendra Heggade and spoke to him.
Meanwhile, Dr.Heggade congratulated the minister. It can be remembered that Khader had visited the temple prior to the visit of AICC President Rahul Gandhi to the Kshethra during the election campaign.
As he had non-veg food in the early morning, he didn’t enter the temple. MLC Harish Kumar, former MLA Abhaychandra Jain were present on the occasion
