Ullal: Minister for Urban Development and Housing and DK district in-charge minister U T Khader, on Saturday, January 12, worked as a traffic warden to regulate the traffic jam along the Thokkottu-Pumpwell national highway and assisted in normalizing vehicular movement.
Road construction along the Thokkottu-Pumpwell national highway is going on since last couple of years with no signs of completion, causing traffic jam, which is a regular issue.
Minister U T Khader’s move has been highly praised by many people. It is not the first time the minister left eyebrows raised with his simplicity. There are several instances when the Minister ferried accident victims to hospitals in his own car, bagging a lot of appreciation in the past.
