Mangaluru: The much-awaited Tulu film “Kudkana Madime”, produced under the banner of GRK Productions, was released at the Jyothi talkies on Friday, January 3.
Tulu film producer and director Prakash Pandeshwar released the movie by lighting the lamp and wished success for the film. Mangaluru North MLA Dr Y Bharath Shetty, writer Kadri Navaneeth Shetty and others spoke on the occasion and predicted that the film will secure success as there were a good number of comedy artistes.
The film is directed by A V Jayaraj and has Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Deepak Rai Panaje and others as part of the cast. Pruthvi Ambar, Deviprakash and Sheethal Nayak play the lead roles. Mahabaleshwar Holla has handled the cinematography and Rahul has composed the music.
The film is being screened now in Jyothi, Big Cinemas, PVR and Cinepolis in Mangaluru, Alankar in Udupi, Inox in Manipal and Krishna theatre in Kasargod.
