Mangalore: IAS Officer Tulasi Maddineni took charge as the 26th CEO Of Dakshina Kannada Zila Panchayat today. She took over the charge from the departing CEO Dr. Vijayaprakash, who served the destrict for five years.
After few formalities the new CEO was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers by CEO Dr. Vijayaprakash.
After taking the charge, the new CEO spoke very enthusiastically to the media. “I Have heard a lot of good things about the people of Dakshina Kannada. I have great respect for the culture and family system of this region. I assure responsible, reliable and common man friendly administration to the people of Dakshina Kannada. My prime aim is to make the govt. facilities reach the common man.” She said.
