Mangaluru: A tree came down on a school bus near Nanthoor Circle, on Wednesday morning, August 14. However, all 17 children, who were plying in the bus escaped with minor injuries.
The incident happened while the school bus was on its way to Cambridge school on the outskirts of the city. When it reached near Nanthoor circle, a tree, which was located adjacent to the road fell on the bus. Immediately, measures were taken to alight children from the bus and they were shifted to another vehicle.
DCP and other police officials rushed to the spot and measures were taken to clear the fallen tree. Traffic movement was disrupted for a while.
