Trains cancelled following landslides along Sakleshpura-Subramanya route

Mangaluru: Several trains have been cancelled following landslides on railway track between Sakleshpur and Subramanya route.

A press release from the senior divisional manager and PRO of South Western Railway S G Sathish informed that debris and boulders have fallen on the railway track in 67 locations between Sakleshpur and Subramanya route along the ghat section and 56 kms of Hassan-Mangaluru section have been cleared. Restoration works are on at one location.

Railway staffs and earth excavating machines are working round the clock to restore the tracks, the press release informed.

According to the press release following trains will remain cancelled or partially cancelled:

1. Train No.16511/16513 KSR Bengaluru to Kannur/Karwar express journey commencing on 15.09.2018 and 19.09.2018 is cancelled.
2. Train No.16517/1523 KSR Bengaluru to Kannur/Karwar express journey commencing on 16.09.2018, 17.09.2018 and 18.09.2018 is cancelled.
3. Train No.16512/16514 Kannur/Karwar to KSR Bengaluru express journey commencing on 16.09.2018, 17.09.2018, 18.09.2018 and 19.09.2018 is cancelled.
4. Train No.16518/16524 Kannur/Karwar to KSR Bengaluru express journey commencing on 20.09.2018 is Cancelled.
5. Train No.16575 Yesvantpur to Mangalore Jn. Express journey commencing on 16.09.2018, 18.09.2018 and 20.09.2018 will run between Yesvantpur to Hassan and is partially cancelled between Hassan to Mangalore Jn.
6. Train No.16515 Yesvantpur to Karwar express journey commencing on 17.09.2018, 19.09.2018 will run between Yesvantpur to Hassan and is partially cancelled between Hassan to Karwar.
7. Train No.16576 Mangalore Jn to Yesvantpur express Journey commencing on 17.09.2018 and 19.09.2018 will run between Hassan to Yesvantpur and is partially cancelled between Mangalore Jn to Hassan.
8. Train No.16516 Karwar to Yesvantpur Journey commencing on 18.09.2018 and 20.09.2018 will run between Hassan to Yesvantpur and is Partially cancelled between Karwar to Hassan.
