Mangaluru: Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy – 2021 has announced three achievers bagging Honarary Award and names of achievers who will receive felicitation.
Academy President Rahim Uchil stated in a press release that the three achievers have been selected for their unique contributions to Beary Language and Education, Beary Art and Literature, Beary Culture and Social Service. The award includes a cash prize of Rs. 50000 (including travel and accommodation), shawl, garland, fruits souvenir, and award certificate, while the felicitated will receive Rs 10000 (including travel and accommodation), shawl, garland, fruits, souvenir and felicitation certificate. The ceremony will be held in Shivamogga in the presence of Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa, Minister of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj K. S. Eshwarappa and Minister For Kannada and Culture Aravind Limbavali once the situation in the Stste becomes normal, the release added.
According to the release, the following dignitaries have been selected for the Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy Honorary Award – 2021 and they are Harekala Hajabba for his contribution to the education field, Hussain Katipalla for his contribution towards literature, and Dr. E. K. A. Siffique Addoor for his contribution to the field of social service.
The following six achievers will be felicitated at the event and they are Ashraf Apollo for his contribution to music, Muneer Bava for his organisational ability, Mariam Fouziya, a woman achiever, youth talent Zulfi, Duff artiste Mohammed Basheer Ustad and child prodigy Mohammed Faraz Ali, Guinness record holder skater (as team member), added the release.
