Mangaluru: Sagar Ratna Hotels, the company which introduced "The Ocean Pearl Hotel Mangaluru" and "The Ocean Pearl Hotel Udupi" to the people of Coastal Karnataka, inaugurated the newly-built "The Ocean Pearl Inn" near Bejai-Kapikad Road, Mangaluru, on Wednesday, September 11.
What stood out was the inauguration of the plush hotel. Priests from three different religions inaugurated the new hotel, which was built to provide the best hospitality to the city's tourists. Sri Kshetra Kateel Temple head priest Vasudeva Asranna said, "The Ocean Pearl Hotels have already made a mark in the hotel industry." He also expressed his hope that the company continues reaching new heights.
The Ocean Pearl Inn is the first hotel in the city to offer customers a wide variety of flavourful dishes from Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisines at its fine-dining restaurant called Asia House. Customers can also enjoy a Japanese dish called 'sushi' at this restaurant. The Ocean Pearl Inn's Teppanyaki-style of cooking introduces patrons to the concept of cooking their favourite Japanese dishes on an iron griddle place right before them.
The newly-inaugurated Ocean Pearl Inn has 68 exquisite deluxe rooms, which include 3 suite rooms. The hotel also has two basements for parking and a ground floor for its two restaurants and kitchens, said Ocean Pearl Hotels, Vice-President BN Girish.
Sharavu Temple administrator Raghavendra Shastri, Church of South India's Bishop J S Sadanand, Lourdes Central School Principal Fr Robert D'Souza, Bunder's Zeenat Bhaksh Mosque Imam Sadakathulla Faizi, Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt, Hangyo Ice Cream’s Pradeep G Pai, Tarjani Communication’s Sanjay Prabhu and others were present at the ceremony.
Ocean Pearl Hotels Director Dinesh Banan, Vice-President BN Girish, General Manager Shivakumar, Assistant General Manager Milan Samuel, Pranama Towers promoter Prasanna KR, PRO Poornachandra Sharma, and Udayavani’s Ramachandra Mijar were also present.
