Further he said, I have seen farmers in several districts of the state throwing their crops to the streets as no one come forward to buy the vegetables and fruits they have grown. "Panama company will buy them," he said.
“I have seen many farmers discarding their crops on streets in several districts of the state as there is no one to buy their produce. In future, our company will buy the vegetables and fruits grown by these farmers. It will take a long time before life returns to normalcy for commoners. That is why I have earmarked Rs 50 lac as a precautionary measure to help families that are in distress. In addition, I have made plans at an estimated cost of Rs 75 crore to buy the agricultural produce of our farmers,” he said.
