Sullia: In an unfortunate incident, a six-year-old girl died after being run over by a school bus at Biliyar in Sullia Taluk.
The victim is Agnaye Balu(6), daughter Appa Kunhi, resident of Aranthodu Village, Sullia.
The girl was pursuing her first standard in a private school.
It is gathered that the incident took place when the girl was returning home from her school at around 4:30 pm, on Monday, February 12. As the girl got down from the school bus, she remembered that she has left her tiffin box inside the bus. While she picked the box standing near the bus, the school bus driver who was unaware of the same moved the bus ahead, crushing the girl.
The girl was rushed to a private hospital in Sullia first and later to a Private Hospital in Mangaluru. However, she succumbed to her injuries.
