Mangalore : Shantanu Sinha will be taking charge as the new Superintendent of Police of Dakshina Kannada district. He will be replacing Abhishek Goyal who has been transferred and posted as Lokayukta SP of Bangalore.
Sinha, an engineer by qualification is an IPS officer of 2009 batch. He hails from New Delhi. He has served as a probationary officer at Shimoga for six months and later was ASP of Channapatna sub-division in Ramnagaram district. Sinha has even served as Deputy Commissioner of Police(Law and Order) of Mysore district.
