Serial collision in Kasargod leaves four critically injured

Uppala: As many as ten persons were injured, of whom four are critical after a serial collision took place at Bekoor of Subhash Nagar area at Uppala in Kasargod.

The accident occurred at about 4 pm on September 9. A Maruti Suzuki Swift plying towards Paivalike lost control and ran into a Tata Sumo and another car nearby injuring ten.

Due to the massive collision, both the vehicle (Sumo and Swift) have been damaged beyond repair.

Localites and the fire extinguishers rushed to the spot and pulled out the injured from the mangled remains. Critically injured were rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru. Manjeshwar police are investigating the matter.
