Mangaluru: SCDCC bank organised a ‘Raita Spandana’ programme to offer loans to agriculturists here on Wednesday July 14.
SCDCC bank has come forward to provide special loans to farmers and other consumers amid Covid pandemic. The interest rates on gold loans have been decreased and the monthly interest is 0.75%.
Cooperation Minister H. T. Somashekar has inaugurated the programme. District In-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has distributed loans to Self-help Societies. MLA Vedavyas Kamath distributed vehicle loans on the occasion.
The bank also provides vehicle loans at 1 % discounted rate for those who are willing to buy electronic scooters and electronic cars. This is undertaken as support to environment-friendly initiatives.
