Mangaluru: The Customs officials seized 238 grams of gold worth Rs 11 lakh from two passengers at Mangaluru International Airport on Friday, March 5.
According to customs sources, the gold was covered by gold foils pasted to the bottom of make-up foundation boxes.
The sources informed that the two passengers, who had arrived from Dubai, had also concealed gold powder pouches under their armpits.
