Mangaluru: Rejoyce Mustard Garden Trust will be organizing its first summer camp at Valpadi Village on May 26, 27 and 28.
The Trust, along with the Miss & Mrs Mangaluru contestants, have planned a host of activities to keep Valpadi children engaged this summer to develop their artistic skills and improve their physical fitness at the same time. They have also planned a mixture of activities from which the children can select their area of interest. (Estimated camping children in Valpadi Village – 110 Nos)
The agenda for the summer camp is as given below:
Day 1 will cover self-confidence workshop, personality development session which will focus on leadership skills, handling negative emotions such as fear, anger or frustration artistic skill activities and fun filled games which will focus on their physical fitness
Day 2 will cover the good touch bad touch session, all basic form of dance, craft, artwork and fun-filled games with prize distribution.
Day 3 will cover yoga and meditation, dental health awareness session, dental health checkup from Manipal College of Science, general medical checkup & naturopathy session by Sharada Ayurveda college & hospital, grooming session from Allure professional salon which will include haircut and overall hygiene
As many of the kids do not have the money to pay for the camp, the Trust is inviting sponsorships in kind for the kids in the Valpadi Summer Camp 2019.
Items that can be sponsored instead of cash for the summer camp are:
Talent – you can be a coach/volunteer in the camp to teach camp listed activities (dance, sing, karate, art, craft, yoga)
Products – you can donate product/items like story book, drawing kit, prizes, indoor games, toys and gifts
Services – Delivery Services, Catering Services (breakfast, lunch, snacks), Medical Camp etc.
