Mangaluru: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) working president Alok Kumar informed that some works related to the construction of Ram Mandir are likely to commence from next Ramotsava.

Speaking to reporters at Sanghanikethan after participating in the VHP’s national-level conference, he said that Ramotsava programme should be celebrated in every temple and houses and those who sent bricks for the construction of Ram Mandir then, should celebrate it in a grand manner. If everything goes as per the plan, the construction of Ram Mandir would be completed by 2024-25.

Meanwhile, Alok Kumar stressed that both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments should stop their conspiracy against Hindu community. “If not, VHP will initiate a strong campaign and we have already made a resolution in this regard during the conference,” he said and added that VHP would initiate several measures to provide food, shelter, sanitation among others to poor people and to eradicate untouchability in the coming days.

Alok Kumar condoled the death of Pejawar seer and recalled that Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji was a frontline leader of the Sri Ram Janma Bhumi movement.
