Belthangady: Dharmasthala police on Wednesday arrested two persons from an illegal slaughterhouse at Kudupparu in Kalenja village.
The accused have identified as Prince KS and VS Baby.
According to the sources, Baby slaughtered a cow in the rubber plantation. The police arrested the accused and seized beef worth 20 thousand, knives, scooters worth Rs. 30,000 and other items.
A case has been registered at Dharmasthala police station.
