Bantwal: Nearly 30 passengers on board a private bus had a miraculous escape after the bus overturned here at Budoli near Mani in the district in the wee hours of Thursday, October 26 morning.
As per reports the bus belonging to Sugama Travels was enroute to Udupi from Bengaluru. The bus is said to have toppled after the driver lost control of the bus around a turn near Budoli. While most passengers escaped unhurt in the accident, two people suffered minor injuries.
Passengers broke open the rear glass of the bus and managed to come out.
Vittal police visited the spot.
