Organ Donation India Foundation to award people for selfless service during lockdown

Mangaluru: Organ Donation India Foundation, in association with NewsKarnataka, V4News, Malanadu TV and Global TV, is giving COVID-19: LOCKDOWN SERVICE AWARD to those who have delivered selfless service during the 21-day lockdown period.

The objective of this award is to motivate people to be more selfless in this crisis and also to contribute as much as they can to the PM-CARES Fund.

Any individual, Club, Trust, Society, Company, Government and Semi-Government Organisation can participate.

To be considered for the award, one must write about a selfless service attached with a maximum of two photographs and one video clip.

Applicants also have to donate a minimum of Rs 100 to the PM-CARES Fund and attach a copy of the receipt along with the application.

The last date for entries is April 20.

The top 11 winners will be selected for the award and the list of the same will be announced before May 20.

Awardees will be presented with a certificate of appreciation in a glittering ceremony at the Pandit Health Resort & Spa in and get free boarding and lodging at the Pandit Health Resort & Spa for one night. They will also get an A/C train ticket to travel from their place of residence to Mangaluru.
