Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has been issued non-bailable arrest warrant by a special court in Bengaluru, meant for criminal cases against MPs, for allegedly making a provocative speech.
According to the sources, Nalin has failed to appear before the court, despite several summonses, which made Judge Channappa D Hudar to issue a non-bailable warrant against him.
A case was registered at Konaje police station two-years-ago after the MP said that he would set the entire district on fire if culprits in Karthik Raj murder case (a saffron activist) were not arrested.
