Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary clarified that there is no confusion or misunderstanding between the leaders of the BJP and that all are busy with the fight against coronavirus.

Responding to a query on a misunderstanding among BJP leaders in tackling the coronavirus crisis, Kota stated, “We are all united and Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is our leader. We are tackling the coronavirus under the able leadership of Yediyurappa. Our government has already proved that it is pro-people and all our programmes are for the welfare of the people,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Minister informed that being a Muzrai Minister he had stated that temples will open from June 1 and added that plans are in progress to open mosques, churches and other religious centres at the same time. “This will be announced by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa,” he added.

Admitting that there are complaints from the public regarding the electricity bills and demand for waiving of charges, he said, “A meeting will be convened with the MESCOM officials on Saturday and a decision will be taken only after the meeting.”
