Mangaluru: For the first time in Karnataka and the history of the Nirmithi Movement, the Nirmithi Kendra has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) with an institute.
An MoU is generally signed between two universities or an institute and a big industry. The Nirmithi Kendra has reached a new milestone by signing an MoU with the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) on Tuesday, January 7. Dakshina Kannada district Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh signed the MoU as she is the chairman of the Nirmithi Kendra.
MIT assistant director Dr Raghavendra Holla and civil department chief Dr Balakrishna Rao, Nirmithi Kendra project directors Rajendra Kalbavi, treasurer Usha and others were present.
Nirmithi Kendra project director Rajendra Kalbavi, in a press release, informed that this MoU will help increase the knowledge sharing between the organizations and benefit the public of both the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
