Mangaluru: Prior to the SSLC examinations on July 19 and 22, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel chaired a meeting at the Zilla panchayat here on Saturday July 17 to discuss preparations for a smooth conduct of the tests.

According to DDPI Mallaya Swami, a total of 32,696 students will take the exam, with nine of them testing positive for Covid-19 and taking the exam at a Covid care centre.

The DDPI stated that students travelling from Kerala through the Talapady border to take the exam have been urged to operate four buses at the Talapady border. Around 441 SSLC applicants from Kerala would sit for the exam, with 121 of them coming through Talapady. The majority of students have asked for a bus service.

The examination would be conducted using OMR sheets this time, according to Zilla panchayat CEO Kumar, who spoke at the meeting. A sample test has also been conducted for the students’ convenience. “Students have received sample question papers. We’ve made all of the necessary preparations to ensure a smooth examination,” he continued.
