Mangaluru: The all new “Ignis” compact urban SUV by Maruthi Suzuki was launched at a glittering ceremony jointly organized by both the Nexa dealers of Mangaluru: Bharath Auto Cars and Mandovi Motors Pvt Limited at the Kadri Ground on February 27.
Mandovi Motors Chief General Manager Parshwanath Jain said, “We are proud to launch the all-new Ignis. Since 2017, both dealers have sold 1000+ Ignis. Every 20 kms there is a service network. Good Ignis has become better now. Compact urban SUV looks more suitable for coastal area and the mileage is good.”
Jagathpal Jain, a retired Syndicate Bank manager said, “I have always been a loyal customer of Maruthi. The car is very good. I have got good service from both the dealership on different occasions. Happy to unveil the new Ignis.”
Ravindra Acharya was the first customer to purchase the new vehicle as well as AM Mohan Das.
The first two customers of the modified new Ignis were handed over their respective car keys.
Maruthi Suzuki India Ltd Territory Sales Manager M S Deepak, Bharath Nexa Showroom Manager Sooraj Jain, Nexa Mandovi AGM Sales Chethan Sriyan, Bharath Nexa Senior Relations Manager Pratheek Britto, and Nexa Mandovi Training and Development Manager Ashith Pandith were present.
The launch was followed by Tulu entertainment ‘Telike Banjinilike’ put up by famed stage artist Deepak Rai Panaje and team.
Earlier, Vijay Mayya welcomed the gathering and Pratheek delivered the vote of thanks. Jaison Pereira compered the programme.
